Frequently Asked Questions

1.What is a munch?

A munch is nothing ore than a vanilla get together with friends.  The only difference is these friends are all involved in the lifestyle to some degree.  We meet at a vanilla restaurant.  So, dress appropriately.  Generally there are no children allowed.  Yet some munch groups do choose restaurants where children frequent.  At Paddlers you can be rest assured you will be in an adult oriented environment as much as possible.  A munch is really nothing more than a PTA meeting to people watching you.  It could be any sort of friendly get together.  Does not need to be kink related.  You dress as you would going anywhere else where people frequent.  Dress as you would to a coffee shop.  Nobody other than the group you are with is going to know the real reason why you are there.  So, don't stress so much and come out and meet like minded individuals.  You never know when you may meet the person of your dream's.

2. What is a party?

A Paddlers party consists of other kink friendly people.  We do not allow sex at our parties.  It is a safe, sane and consentual environment.  We have dungeon monitors.  You can come watch if that is what you care to do.  Or you can volunteer to be a demo dummy and get real involved.  There is no pressure on anyone to play at a Paddlers event.  We do ask that you respect those of whom you are around.  You would'nt want a stranger touching you without permission so assume other's wouldn't either.  Try to be respectful while a scene is going on.  Don't be too loud as it breaks concentration.

3. What is a discusssion group?

A discussion group usually has a set topic just to get the ball rolling so to speak.  It can staart out on that topic and end up on any topic you'd like to suggest for the evening.  If you have questions and are fearful of asking people in a public environment then a discussion group is the best time to ask.  In discussion groups you will find those who are most interested in learning all the lifestyle has to offer.
